123. IS IT TOO LATE TO RE-ORDER MY LIFE? Life has a tendency to overwhelm us with routines, duties, and blunders. For many immigrants, their time overseas might feel like a haze of labour, bills, and constant sacrifice. At some point, you stop and wonder: Is it too late to reorganise my life? The good news is that as long as you can breathe, it is not too late. Life can always be reorganised, refocused, and moulded, no matter how far down the road you believe you have travelled. Clarification is the first step towards reorganising your life. Many people are busy, but what are they doing? You cannot reorder items that have not been appraised. Take stock of your current financial, spiritual, mental, and physical situation. What works? What is broken? What needs pruning? This is not about shame, but about honesty.
