The government has a role, no doubt, but change does not begin at the top. Communities, corporations, and individuals must accept accountability. Imagine if every Nigerian business was honest, gave value as promised, and treated consumers with respect. Opportunities would proliferate naturally. Corruption thrives because we all accept "man-know-man" shortcuts, but when honesty becomes our culture, we begin to lay the groundwork for true wealth.
