236. INFORMATION OVERLOAD

These days, Nigerians planning to move abroad or already living overseas often feel overwhelmed by too much information. Social media, blogs, WhatsApp groups, and forums are full of advice, success stories, and mixed messages about settling, working, or succeeding in a new country. All this add to their confusion.

Empowering And Inspiring Generations

However, be careful of the content or advice you follow. Not everything you hear is fit your own situation. Too much information can either make one feel anxious or nervous, making it very difficult to know what to do next.

It's advisable to choose a few trusted sources, such as professionals, community leaders, or mentors who know your background, what you want to achieve, and who is willing to help you navigate through this path.

Not all online stories are true, especially when they only highlight the positives and mask the negatives. Keep in mind that no true success comes without a hidden challenge.

Proper planning is very important. Know what is true and relevant to you. Focus on one or two realistic goals instead of trying to overload oneself with everything at once. Take things step by step till the result is achieved.

Lastly, give yourself time away from social media so you can rest and think things through. Having a clear mind will help you make better choices as you move forward.
